About the Club
Hello!
We are a friendly group of people who meet once a month in central Bath to discuss a chosen book over a drink - we currently meet in The Griffin Inn, in Bath, however if anyone knows of a larger quiet space we could use each month, please get in touch
We are quite a large group at present, so cannot currently accept new members, however there is always opportunity to post your views on our Facebook page, should you be unable to attend the meetings
Feel free to sign up to www.bathbookclub.co.uk and get involved with the forums too
Books
Each month you're welcome to nominate any book you fancy reading and we can decide there and then, or use the forum, facebook or twitter page to discuss and decide. Books we've read in the last few months have included The Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood, The Great Gatsby by F Scott Fitzgerald and The Complaints by Ian Rankin.
February Meeting:
The book we're reading for the February meeting is In the Country of Men by Hisham Matar. The meeting will take place at The Griffin Inn on the last Wednesday of the month - February 29th - at 7:30pm
The author will also be giving a talk as part of the Bath Lit Fest http://www.bathlitfest.org.uk/hishammatar.aspx
**Follow our Twitter feed and tweet your thoughts on the books we read each month - click the link on the left to go to our page and get involved**
